At Children’s Workshop, we strive to provide the best for the littlest. As a private, non-profit school, we count on the generous gifts from our community to help us achieve this vision. In year’s past, your support has helped us move the school to its current location, assist in the purchase of equipment and materials for our new Toddler Community, and ensured the staff’s ability to attend the annual AMI Refresher Course.
Your donations have far-reaching effects, supporting today’s students and future generations. This year’s Annual Giving participation rate of 83%, and $15,210 raised were both the highest in the school’s 23 year history. Coupled with the nearly $10,000 raised at our Spring Auction, this year’s fundraising efforts will allow us to completely renovate our outdoor environment during the summer (photos coming soon!).
Reasons to Donate:
Children’s Workshop also accepts gifts of stock and securities. This type of gift can be a helpful tax tool, since you can avoid paying tax on the appreciated price of stock, while providing a charitable contribution deduction for the current market value of the stock. Gifts in kind, including professional services such as information technology, marketing, fund development and gifts of equipment, furniture, and volunteer hours are others ways to support your school. Also, many employers match donor’s contributions to our school, which will make your gift go further.
