AM and PM Care can be contracted for any number of days during the school week. These hours can also be requested anytime throughout the school year, as needed, with 24 hours advanced notice. During the summer, the school closes at 5:30 p.m.

AM Care

Toddlers: 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Children will enter directly into the Toddler Community, where they can assist the adults in preparing the environment for the day or begin their work. Children are also welcome to eat a light breakfast (supplied by his/her family) if needed.

Children’s House: 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.

Children will begin their day in the Enrichment Center, where they can eat a light breakfast (supplied by his/her family), read books up in the loft, play games with friends or work on a variety of activities.

PM Care

Toddlers: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Children will stay with their Toddler Community during this time. A healthy snack will be provided and, weather permitting, they will go outside. The children will also have the opportunity to continue their work and assist the adults in closing down the environment for the day.

Children’s House: 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

All children who stay after 3:30 p.m. go to the Enrichment Center, which is staffed by a Montessori guide and an assistant. Weather permitting, they go outside for play. A snack is put out for the children to enjoy. Many Montessori materials are available, as well as art activities, crafts, music, dancing, puzzles and games. This is a relaxing time of day for the children.
