Parent/Infant Class

Our Parent/Infant class is set in a safe, beautiful environment that provides activities and materials for each individual child’s development. The mixed age environment is a natural learning space which allows younger, non-mobile children to observe with curiosity the older children who are crawling, pulling up, walking, etc. The appropriate sized furniture, movement apparatus, and social interactions within this community set the path for further learning. The Lead Guide, Heather Moran (Montessori trained, Certified Doula & Childbirth Educator) will facilitate and engage in conversations about development, nutrition, sleep patterns, toilet training as well as discuss methods for encouraging independence at this early stage. A nutritious snack is provided.

The class is for children ages 8 weeks to 15 months and their parents/caregivers. It will take place Friday mornings from 9:00-11:00 am. Our Spring Session will start on March 9th.Class will be held on 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4 (No class 4/6).
