Prior to joining Childrens Workshop, Margaret was a partner in an investment banking firm in Minneapolis. She has a B.A. in Management, an M.B.A., the AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota, and a Masters in Education. Margaret enjoys playing the piano, singing in her church choir, reading, golfing, sewing, and cooking. She is married with three daughters and three grandchildren.

Lisa received the AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota and a Masters Degree in Education from Loyola College in Baltimore, and a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Lisa joined Childrens Workshop in 2003 and is passionate about parent education and the preparation of beautiful materials for her classroom. For leisure, Lisa enjoys walking her dog, reading, digital photography, and listening to music. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband.

Carolyn Kohlhaas

Carolyn Kohlhaas works as the assistant to Lisa Drevlow in Childrens House One. Her undergraduate degree is in theology, religious education, and music from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio. She graduated from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota in 2003 with her Montessori Primary Diploma. Carolyn enjoys singing playing her guitar, cross stitch, and a good book.

Nick has been a member of the Childrens Workshop community since 2000. He has a B.A. in Geography from the University of St. Thomas along with an AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota. He has presented workshops both locally and nationally in the areas Geography, Biology and Record Keeping in the Childrens House. In his free timewait, Nick has no free time thanks to the birth of he and his wife Emilys first child, Ian, in March of 2007.

Sangeetha received a BSC in Home Science from Sri Saradhe College in Salem, India and she joined Childrens Workshop 2006. She was married in 1997 and has two children, Rupak and Reshma. Rupak is in Childrens House 3. She likes cooking, watching television, and playing tennis.

Leah earned her AMI Primary Diploma from the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota in May 2003. She completed her Masters Degree in Education from Loyola College in Baltimore in the summer of 2004 and has a B.S. in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Leah has a passion for the outdoors, instilled in her through her extensive YMCA camp involvement, including environmental education. She maintains balance by rock-climbing, practicing yoga, hiking, swimming, reading, seeing plays and dances, and playing games. She also has a lovable three-legged Manx, Skipper, who waits anxiously at home every day for her return.

Amber received her B.S. in Education Studies from Edgewood College in Madison WI in August 2007 and joined Childrens Workshop in November 2007. She recently relocated to Minneapolis from Madison and lives with her sister on the U of M campus. Amber enjoys running, skiing, cooking, baking, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

Aaron received a B.A. in English and Philosophy from the University of Minnesota in 2007 and joined Children’s Workshop in the fall of 2007. He grew up in the peculiar town of Fairfield, Iowa. In his spare time, Aaron enjoys running, rock climbing, playing guitar, creative writing, listening to music, sailing, and water skiing.
